These a two questions i have been asked alot this week in store…. my answer up until a couple of days ago was, no… you can get a zero calorie food?? Well apperntly you can, as of next week we will have these to much talked about products in store.

What is Slim made from?
Slim Pasta, Slim Noodles and Slim Rice are made from a water-soluble vegetable fibre called Moyu (konjac).
Will it taste good?
Slim Pasta, Slim Noodles and Slim Rice are slightly chewy than normal pasta, noodles and rice and that is because it is made from fibre. It is also very absorbing, so if you add them to a sauce that is runny, it will absorb a lot more of the flavours.
The down side of eating normal pasta, noodles and rice is that it is High in Calories, Carbohydrates and Sugar. You could either have pasta that contains 352 calories and 71.6g of carbohydrates (per 100g serving) or have Slim Pasta that contains 7.7 Calories (Zero Net calories), 0g of Carbohydrates, of which Sugar is 0g. With any of the Slim foods range, you will feel full for up to 4 hours, you will get net zero calories and zero carbohydrates and sugar from Slim, and you will also lose weight from eating pasta, noodles and rice.
What is that odor you get when you open a bag of Slim?
Slim comes stored in a food grade calcium hydroxide water (lime water), and when opened, you will notice a starch like odor. This is perfectly normal, since it is made of a high quality and high viscose Moyu fibre. The starch odor disappears after 2-3 rinses under warm water.
What does ZERO Net Calories mean?
The calories per 100g in Slim is 7.7. However, these calories come from vegetable fibre, and it cannot be absorbed by the body. So although the food is made up of 7.7 calories, what your body absorbs is practically zero, hence ‘Zero Net calories’.
I am eating a Slim foods meal for the first time, how much should I eat?
Try not to eat until you get full as the fibre that makes up Slim will expand to give you that extra feeling of fullness. Slim is very filling, so start with a very modest portion and see how you get on and increase the portions in your next meal until you are sure about the portion size. Try to remember that the Slim food range is not like your usual pasta, noodles and rice, you wont need to eat as much as regular pasta, noodles and rice to feel satisfied (depending on your added sauce/ingredients).
Can anyone eat Slim?
Yes, anyone can eat Slim Pasta, Slim Noodles and Slim Rice, but it is not like your average food. Slim is Suitable for Diabetics since it contains 0g of Carbohydrates of which Sugar is 0g (per 100g) serving. The Slim food range is Suitable for Coeliacs, as it is free of Gluten and it is listed with Coeliac UK and Coeliac Society of Ireland database of foods suitable for Coeliacs. If you are looking to Lose Weight with the Slim, simply consume 1/3 of of a pack of Eat Water 3 times a day with 250ml of water and as part of a calorie controlled diet.
Why is Slim suitable for diabetics?
Pasta, noodles and rice tend to be very high in carbohydrates, the average pasta contains 72.3g of carbohydrates per 100g serving. Diabetics have to carefully watch their entire days diet in order to determine whether it is safe to eat pasta or noodles. Some have to take insulin after having a pasta meal because of the high Carbohydrate and Sugar levels. How do I cook Slim
Slim Pasta, Slim Noodles and Slim Rice are packed pre-cooked. You simply heat them up and enjoy with your favourite soup or sauce etc as you would like any other pasta, noodles and rice. The first thing you should do is prepare your choice of sauce or soup.
Tip: Make the sauce or soup runny, because Slim is very absorbing and if the sauce or soup is runny, the flavours will get absorbed by the pasta or noodles and it will taste even more delicious.
